Ball Blue Book Of Canning And Preserving Recipes [Edition K]

The front and back covers are the same with the title in orange and white lettering on a blue background. Below is a large photograph of a Ball Perfect Mason jar with a metal lid on a white background. There is an ornate color frame of fruit, produce and ribbon. The title page has the title, Edition K, Issued by Ball Brothers Company, Muncie, Indiana. There is a three-page index and a forward about the benefits to canning -- for the war effort and for a healthy diet. Following are the rules, general principles and methods of canning with recipes. At the end is "A Word for the BALL Jars" about the manufacturing of the jars and a photograph of the facilities and equipment. The last two pages are blank with Memoranda at the top.
