The front of this orange folder has Sugar Ration Book Cover in black print with a border of small black stars at the top and bottom. A larger black star is in the middle with Compliments of King Midas Flour Mills, Minneapolis, Minnesota below. The back cover has A Hint On Planning Meals With Less Sugar and a promotion for King Midas Enriched Flour. There is a drawing of the back of a young girl wearing a bonnet and leaning forward. At the bottom is the product name followed by "the Highest Priced Flour in America And Worth All It Costs." Inside are three ration books. The front of each has UNITED STATES OF AMERICA War Ration Book One with black-and-white seals of the United States on either side. Below are four warnings about the use of rations issued by the Office of Price Administration. The right edge has ration book numbers and handwriting in pencil. The back has the Certificate of Book Holder signed by the persons to whom the ration books were issued. Inside is the Certificate of Registrar filled out by the holders of the ration books. Each has two or three ration coupons still attached.
