The front end page has advertisements for Hires; Expansion Bottle Stoppers; and the Hires Hand Capping Machine with black-and-white drawings and photographs. The back end page has an advertisement for "When You're Out Shopping? Ask for Hires" at fountains or in bottles. There are 22 classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes, two on each page and each with a color drawing. The last page has an advertisement for Hires Household Extracts with drawings of a yellow box for rootbeer extract and a green box for ginger ale extract.
