[Cooking Notes -- Milk] [4]
Description:
The front of this trade card has a color drawing of a farmer admiring a cow in the foreground. The back of the card has Arbuckles' Ariosa Coffee with four reasons why it "is worth more than other brands of coffee" even though it costs more. There is also a warning about some coffee manufacturers deceiving consumers with what their coffee is actually made of. On the right side, under Cooking Notes, is an article about how to get the full benefits of drinking milk and tips for those whose stomachs are too sensitive for milk. There is also a recipe for egg nog and the tip: "A spoonful of grated horse radish will keep a pan of milk sweet for days."
