Each successive page is longer than the previous. They are tabbed to appear as a table of contents. The topics are: breakfast, luncheon, dinner, afternoon tea and formal reception, buffet supper, general instructions, correctly arranged covers, recipes for starred (*) dishes, and garnishes. Pages have menus and correct table settings for the particular event. There are line drawings of the place settings. The final page has a promotion for International Silver Co., formerly The Holmes & Edwards Silver Company. There are black and white photographs of spoons on a blue background. There are no page numbers.
