Michigan Bean Commission, Lansing, Mi. at the bottom with 50ยข below it. The back cover is white with a black tab repeating the title and giving the Michigan Bean Commission address and the Litho in U.S.A. 50M-8-76. The front end page give the bean story and has the Michigan Bean Commission logo at the top. The back end page and last page have an index. The first page has a table of contents in a yellow box with Beans -- Rich in Protein, Rich in Fiber! information outlined with a black line. Each section of recipes has the name in yellow lettering in a black rectangle at the top of the page. The groupings of recipes are: Appetizers & Dips; Sous, Main Dishes; Sandwiches; Salads; International Recipes; and Quantity Recipes. Pages 2-3 have information on nutrition of beans, guide to common can sizes, and tips for storage.
