The front end page has a letter from Lois Ross, Director--Home Economics, introducing the collection of wheat, milk and/or egg-free recipes with some hints to get started. The back end page has a list of wheat free cereals. The first page has a table of contents with six categories: Breads, Breakfast Ideas, Cookies and Candies, Desserts, Main Dishes and Wheat Free Cereals. There are black-and-white photographs with some of the recipes.
