"Bear" In Mind: Our Trade Mark


This pamphlet is a color die-cut of a black bear looking over a ledge. The front and back covers are the same with the title in curved white letters on the bear. At the bottom is Pettijohn's Breakfast Food in red lettering. The front end panel is black and white with Pettijohn's in black above a gray banner with California Breakfast Food in white letters. At the bottom is Agrees With All. Delicious and Healthful. The back end page has Pettijohn's California Breakfast Food and a black-and-white drawing of the bear on the ledge, "the picture of the Fairy Bear which Freddie saw on the package." At the bottom of the page is, "It is on every package of Pettijohn's California Breakfast Food." The inside has the story of Freddie and Helen and the Fairy-Bear" in which the bear makes Pettijohn's California Breakfast Food for Freddie and his sister.
