Little Cookbooks: The Alan and Shirley Brocker Sliker Culinary Collection

[Pettijohn's Breakfast Food]

The front cover has a stage with a green border and red curtains. There are two bear cubs carrying a box of Pettijohn's Breakfast Food and a small boy named Bub to the right holding the curtain open. There is a poem below and a blue border that looks like stage lights at the bottom. The back cover has the same stage with the cubs leaving and Bub taking a bow. There is a different rhyme on the back. The front end page has contest instructions with a place for a child to write name, address, age, and gender. It is filled in and there is handwriting in the margins. The back end page has promotions for Pettijohn Breakfast Food. There are line drawings of Pettijohn advertisements and the center pages are watercolors to paint the drawings. Each drawing has a rhyme below it and a note about Cereta coupons.
