Description:
The beige front cover has Brook Lodge in black script lettering with Recipes below also in black print. Behind Brook Lodge is a light blue drawing of the front portico of the lodge and its reflection. Upjohn is in black print toward the bottom in a fine box. The back cover has Brook Lodge in light blue script followed by a brief description of the lodge, including its location in Augusta, Michigan, in black print. The front end page has "OUR BROOK LODGE CREED." There are 30 cream-colored recipe cards, 15.4 by 10.2 cm. A cream-colored insert, 5.3 by 12.2 cm, shows that this was sold by Andrews & Rose, Booksellers in Augusta, Michigan for $10.00. The information is in black print with a fine black border.
