This tri-fold leaflet is printed in dark blue ink on light blue paper. The front panel has a wide vertical dark blue bar with a light and dark blue border. The leaflet title starts inside the dark blue bar, continues to the light blue area and ends at the bottom inside the dark blue bar. There is a drawing of a cow, pig, chicken, rabbit and fish in white and medium blue. The back panel gives reasons why the Kerr jars, caps and lids work best for successful canning of meats, poultry, game, fish, fruits and vegetables. The is information on how to obtain additional information on canning, including recipes and menus. There is the Good Housekeeping Institute Seal of Approval. The inside panels provide information on the benefits of meat canning, the essentials of successful meat canning, methods of processing, steps in canning, a time table for meat canning, recipes for canning meats and for using canned meats.
