Description:

The front cover is red and white with a drawing of a mother holding her baby as her older son and daughter watch. The almanac includes weather forecasts, child training hints, economy recipes, horoscopes, weights and measures, spot and stain removers, wedding customs and anniversaries, new puzzles, house cleaning hints, life span of animals, moonlight hours, and other valuable material. A black circle at the bottom reads, "Free to you by courtesy of your druggist." Published for the 97th year by Dr. D. Jayne and Son, Inc. The back reads, "Wanted. A mother who understands what my trouble really is and what to do about it." On the right is a portrait of a worried little girl. Below is a promo for Jayne's Vermifuge, used by mothers for 110 years. Machine punched hole is in the upper left corner.
