One of the Third Series, Useful Birds of America cards was packed in each package of Arm and Hammer Soda and Saleratus. The company would send a complete set of 30 for six two-cent stamps. The following are in the Sliker Collection: No. 1 Dickcissel; No. 3 Painted Bunting; No. 10 House Wren; No. 20 Veery; No. 21 Ovenbird; and No. 23 Green-Tailed Towhee.
