It was recognized everywhere as something better than anything packed hitherto"); 5) "We may be happy yet, you bet" (promo on back: "Is now used in the U.S. Army"); 6) "You're no gentleman y'son of a baboon" (promo on back: "Is now used in the U.S. Navy"); 7) "D-M *** !! ** ? !!" (promo on back: "Especially adapted for light housekeeping. Recommended by the leading cookings schools. Send for our Luncheon Beef Cook Book"); 8) "Blue ribbon recruits" (promo on back: "It is the perfection of canned meats, eaten cold or hot. Is the only canned meat that can be used for cooking").
