One of the Useful Birds of America cards was packed in each package of Arm and Hammer Soda and Saleratus. The company would send a complete set of 30 for six two-cent stamps. The following are in the Sliker Collection: No. 3 Downy Woodpecker; No. 4 Red Headed Woodpecker; No. 8 Nuthatch; No. 10 Robin; No. 14 Rose Breasted Grosbeak; No. 17 Redpoll; No. 18 Black Billed Cuckoo; No. 19 Meadowlark; No. 28 Cardinal; No. 29 Scarlet Tanager; and No. 30 Junco.
