One of the New Series of Birds cards was packed in each package of Arm and Hammer Soda and Saleratus. The company would send a complete set of 30 for six two-cent stamps. The following are in the Sliker Collection: No. 1 Robin Snipe; No. 7 Hawk; No. 8 Blue Bill Duck; No. 10 Spoon Bill; No. 13 Kingfisher; No. 18 Virginia Rail; No. 20 Swan; No. 22 Ptarmigan; No. 23 Horned Owl; No. 25 Curlew; No. 29 Old Squaw; and No. 30 Pelican.
