Description:
The front cover is gilt with two butterflies and a hummingbird on a bouquet of flowers. The back cover is also gilt with a drawing of seven children climbing a chair to get jars of Thurber preserves from cabinet shelves. In 1893 Thurber, Whyland and Co. was liquidated and some assets were acquired by H.K. and F.B. Thurber and Co.
