Description:
The front and back covers are identical. The background is white with a drawing of a can of Star Milk in between Star Milk and Recipes. The can has blue stars and red, blue, and gold lettering. The front end page indicates white a red star (condensed) vs. a blue star (unsweetened) means on the cans. The first page discusses how evaporated milk is made and has the note: Prepared and guaranteed by Michigan Condensed Milk Co. Guaranteed under the Food and Drugs Act June 30, 1906. No. 364. The pamphlet has recipes for cakes, cookies, pastries, candies, puddings, soups, and side dishes. The last page has instructions on how to whip Star evaporated milk. The back end page has a list of the factories and a dealer's name: J. H. Martin 53 So. Water Street Chicago, Dealer in all products of Michigan Condensed Milk Co.
