The front and back covers are identical. There is a white frame around a dark blue background. The lettering is yellow. There is a drawing of a Pearl Evaporated Milk can in the center which has a shell with six pearls on it. All of the inside pages have a yellow border. The front end page states that only Pearl Milk with provide the best results. The title page states: Pearl Milk Evaporated and Sterilized A Few Tested Recipes Michigan Condensed Milk Co. 44 Hudson Street New York City. Factories: Lansing, Mich., Howell, Mich., Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Jackson, Mich., Frankfort, N.Y., and Newport, N.Y.There are recipes for soups, puddings, pies, breads and muffins, and ice cream. Page 16 has directions for whipping Pearl Evaporated Milk. The back end page has an advertisement for free items if you save the labels.
