Description:
The front cover is a drawing by Dan Beard of three fishermen in a rowboat. One has caught a fish and is pulling on the line. It also shows four positions of the sun with other sailboats in the background. The name "James W. Boutell" is stamped around the outside. The back cover reads, "Scott's Emulsion of cod liver oil with Hypophosphites. Pleasant to the taste." It shows a Norwegian fisherman carrying a 156 pound codfish on his back. It reads, "This codfish, weighing 156 pounds, was caught off the coast of Norway. Great flesh producer and cure for consumption." The name "James W. Boutell" is stamped on the top.
