Little Cookbooks: The Alan and Shirley Brocker Sliker Culinary Collection

The Best Ice Cream

The front cover has a painting of three children enjoying ice cream. Another boy is peaking through the window at a boy scooping ice cream from an ice cream maker while one girl wearing a dark blue polka dot dress and a white pinafore holds a plate for more and another girl in pink enjoys the ice cream. The back cover has a drawing of a blue and white Eagle Brand can, a plate of vanilla ice cream, a plate of pink ice cream, and a blue and white Peerless can. A panel at the bottom reads, "Borden's Eagle Brand Condensed Milk. Peerless Brand Evaporated Milk. Made with scrupulous care for those who demand the best." The company name was later changed to Borden's Condensed Milk Co.
