Description:
The front cover is black with a modern shaded pink to red drawing of desserts on the left. The title is in red and white lettering on the black. The back cover is plain white. The title page states: The Kelvinator book of kitchen tested recipes, prices Twenty-five cents. Published by Kelvinator Division of Nash-Kelvinator Corporation Detroit Michigan. The front end page has charts on temperatures for broiling, frying, baking, and steaming. The back end page has equivalents and time tables. Each page has a pink border at the top with the category of recipe. There are pink line drawings and black and white drawings and photos. The recipes are for appetizers, beverages, cocktails, breads, cookies, baking, casserole dishes, ice cream, ices, sherbets, mousses, parfaits, sauces, pies cakes puddings, miscellaneous, soups, salads, and salad dressings. The latter part of the book has menus, oven meals, recipes, and cookery, economy cookery, surface cookery and recipes, baking, broiling, and meat cookery.
