The back cover has a bar code and the ISBN. The title page has a note that every recipe has been tested in the Better Homes and Gardens Test Kitchen. The pamphlet was produced by Meredith Publishing Services. The chapters are different barbecue sauces from Maggie Waldron, Sharon Kramis, Jane Butel, Sam Higgins, Ken Davis, Sam Legard, and Michael Silver. The first chapter is on the history of Kingsford and how to start a grill. Each cooks' chapter started with a signed letter. There are color photographs as well as black and white.
