Description:
The front cover has the Kingsford logo at the top, followed by the title, and then a line drawing of a barbecue. The back cover has a line drawing of a bag of charcoal briquets and the company name and address in California. In 1973, it was acquired by the Clorox Company becoming a subsidiary of them. The inside pages include the history of charcoal, types of grills, care and cleaning of grills, and basic utensils. Recipes include hamburger, steak, chicken, lamb, pork chops, kabobs, hot dogs, and fish. There instructions for cooking with foil, cooking in the coals, and rotisserie cooking. There are line drawings and charts for cooking the various foods.
