The pamphlet contains the history of Detroit, the builders of Detroit, cavalcade of fashion through 250 years, Detroit historama - 14 Woodward Avenue windows, Detroit historama - Hudson's 12th floor auditorium, and Detroit's 250th birthday parade. The 26 articles on the builders of Detroit were written by Dr. Milo M. Quaife and originally published in the Detroit News in July 1951.
