The text on the back cover lists the participating dealers, free gift list, miscellaneous gifts, and the contents of the free food baskets that will be given away. The front end page has better meals cooking school and America's program of home defense and how to plan the diet for health and vigor. The first page has meal patterns to make meal planning easy in a framed rectangle. why meat in the diet protects health, and the first session index of recipes. Page two has successful meat cookery plays an important part in serving Better Meals. There are black and white photos on some pages. The centerfold page has a week's worth of dinner planned for you in a black line framed rectangle across both pages. The pamphlet contains twenty-five recipes. Pages 11/12 have the registration blank to be used in awarding prizes. The back end page has recipes for homemade corn bread mix, homemade biscuit mix, and homemade pie mix.
