3rd Annual Fall 1933 Electric Range Cooking School (Second Night)

The leaflet is a single yellow sheet with three folds. The sponsors were The State Journal for the Board of Water & Electric Light Commissioners and the electric range dealers of Lansing and East Lansing. The demonstrator in charge was Miss Nora Altic, noted culinary, home economics and electric cookery expert from the National Livestock and Meat Board, Chicago, Ill. The front panel has a photo of the demonstrator. The back panel has a list of companies selling electric ranges where tickets were available for free. They included Barker-Fowler Electric Co., Board of Water & Electric Light Commissioners, Coven Electric Co., Garlock Kelvinator Sales, Vandervoort Hardware Co.; all of Lansing, Mich. and East Lansing Electric Co. of East Lansing, Mich. The local Red and White Stores of Lansing and East Lansing, Mach provided the food products used in the demonstrations. When opening the leaflet fully, the inside panels are titled "The parade of the foods". There are four menus and eleven recipes on the inside panels. There are directions on how to roast and the registration blank to be used in awarding prizes. Making the first fold, there are recipes 12-19, the back side of the registration blank with an advertisement for a mixer jar, and the information on the entertainment Virgiline Simmons School of Dancing Pupils.
