Inside the first fold are recipes for dishes made with Protose and a description of Savita and a recipe for gravy made with it. Opening the leaflet fully, there is a brief history of Battle Creek Sanitarium Health Foods, a detailed description of Protose, and more recipes. Handwritten on the Protose vegetable salad is "Heart of lettuce Juice of 1/2 lemon."
