CUTCO's name is printed in orange and the rest of the title is in white. The back cover is brown with an arched white window frame with the CUTCO Replacement and Service Policy in brown. The sales representative's name handwritten on the back above the Wear-Ever company name. The first pages have "How to care for you Cutco Cutlery with detailed instructions for use of several CUTCO cutting, carving and serving utensils. The "Carving Section" lists 11 steps to carving preparation with tips for carving in the kitchen and at the table followed by detailed instructions, with illustrations, on how to carve different cuts of beef roasts, steaks, hams, lamb and chicken. Attached inside is a yellow and brown postal card to send in for information on becoming a CUTCO distributor: "Do you need an extra paycheck?" tells how "Hundreds of ambitious young men add to their regular incomes by showing the world's finest cutlery -- Cutco." There is a pink duplicate receipt of purchase of a CUTCO item.
