The front end page has a color photo of Welch's being poured over ice cream. Page three is a typed letter to Howdy Doody friends. There are illustrations in purple, orange, red, and white of Howdy Doody and his friends. There are recipes for foods for children made with Welch's Grape Juice, plans for a Howdy Doody party (compliments of the Dennison Manufacturing Company), and bedtime stories. The recipes include beverages, fruits, breakfast dishes, luncheon dishes, meat sauces, salads, desserts, and biscuits and breads. Page 34 and the end page have a mix of a pen and ink drawing of Howdy Doody pointing to a photo of Welch's products on the back end page.
