Below his picture is says "Hires to our new colonies." in red lettering. In the space for an agent's name is Winans & Whitney, 510 State Street, Schenectady, N.Y.. The front end page has an advertisement for Hires Rootbeer Package. The back end page has an advertisement for Hires Condensed Milk. There are pen and ink drawings accompanying the rhymes. There is no date and no page numbers.
