Presto Jars At The Fair
Description:
The front panel is black, red, and green. There are three canning jars with different lids. The New York World's Fair symbol is in the lower left corner. The copyright is circa 1939. The back panel is green, white, and red. Good house keepers caps and lids is in the green border. The white border has a description of G.H.K. Caps and G.H.K. Lids with black and white line drawings. The bottom red border has Owens-Illinois with their World's Fair logo and in the left hand corner Form 163 and in the right hand corner "First in Glass." It is a single sheet of paper folded in three fifths and then folded vertically. The inner sheet is 9.2cm x 12.0cm. There is a green border at the top with Presto and a white area below with descriptions and line drawings of jar caps, universal closures, rubber rings (Presto rings, top seal). Opening it up there is a green border at the top and a black border at the bottom, which is visible when closed. There are red borders on either side with line drawings of jars. The green border says Presto fruit jars. The white area is divided into thirds by green lines. The first section is on Jars, the second is on wide mouth, and the third section is on jelly glasses. The black border has Cupples Company - St. Louis.
