The front panel has a variegated blue rainbow with two women's silhouettes (one white and one blue). The back panel is identical. The title page says: First choice of good cooks and experienced homemakers for three generations Monarch Range cook book for use with ranges heated with all types of fuel... gas, coal, wood, electricity or combination. The verso of the title page has the company logo. Many pages have a yellow background. There are black and white and color photos, primarily of foods. Pages 47-54 have menu ideas.
