The back panel is a continuation of the picture with the wagon having a pineapple, bowls of apples and jars of canned produce. The front end page is an advertisement for Kerr Country Kitchen decorated jelly or relish jars. Page one has a brief history of the start of the company and a dedication of the book to the memory of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander H. Kerr who had implicit faith and trust in God. There are black and white drawings. There are black and white photos for the steps of the canning process. There are color photos of produce, jars of canned produce, and dishes that have used the canned produce. Page 57 has a column on canning for the diabetic (sugarless canning). Pages 64-68 have Answers to your questions on canning and freezing from our modern research kitchen including pickling pointers and problems. The back end page has an advertisement for Kerr products.
