The front panel has a green background with the tile in white lettering except for Kerr which is in red. There is a fruit plate in the background behind an empty Kerr jar, cap, and lid. In the upper right hand corner is Price 25¢. In the lower right hand corner is the rest of the title: and how to freeze food. The back panel has a green background with an empty canning jar, lid, and cap with tomatoes and corn on the cob around it. The front end page had a picture of Ruth Kerr and a typed signed letter from her to Dear Homemaker:. The company name and address are below. The opposite page has a basket of peaches with blossoms behind and a jar of canned peaches to the right. Page 56 and the back end page are an advertisement for Kerr products. There are black and white line drawings and photos on the canning processes. There are color photos on jars of canned produce some with loose produce and presentation of food used from jars. Pages 47-54 have Answers to your canning questions. Separate sheet for Directions enclosed.
