The front panel has a green background. The title is at the top with Kerr in red lettering. There is a wide mouth canning jar with tomatoes in it and a empty small mouth jar with seal and band in front. There are tomatoes and green beans around the base of the jars. The back panel has a green background with an African violet, an open jar of jam, and jam in a white compote. In the space for the local dealer is Compliments of your neighborhood National Food Store and in the lower left corner Bulleting No. 954. The front and back end pages and page 18 have advertisements for Kerr products. Page 3 is the dedication to homemakers who can. The leaflet contains basic information on canning, timetables, freezing, and freezing charts. There are a few recipes.
