Directly in front of her are peaches and cherries, to the right of them, a basket of strawberries and peaches around it, and behind them two jars of produce. Ivy winds through them. In the bottom right hand corner in white lettering is Price 25 cents. The back panel has an empty jar with 9 tomatoes in a semicircle around it. There is a lid and seal in front of the jar. The background is green. The front end page has a typed signed letter from Ruth Kerr with her picture and a white oval with the text Dedicated to homemakers everywhere. The opposing page shows Mom and triplets at the table. Mom is making waffles and there are canned preserves in dishes. There are black and white line drawings and photos on the canning processes. There are color photos showing canned produce around produce, tables set with meals, and empty jars in front of produce. Pages 46-53 have Answers to your canning questions. Page 56 and the back end page have an advertisement for Kerr jars, caps, lids.
