The front panel is beige with black ink. There is a black banner at the top above the title that states: Important---Read carefully before using. The text is in two columns with the left column being open kettle method and the right column being hot and cold pack method. The back panel is beige with black ink and is divided into three columns. The first column is a time table with a coupon for the Kerr home canning book at the bottom. The second column continues the time table and additional notes on preparing different foods for processing as well as the corporation name and address. The third column has an advertisement for Kerr fruit jars and caps. It is three-hole punched.
