Kerr Home Canning Book
The front panel had the title in yellow text on a black banner at the top. There is a basket of strawberries overflowing around an empty Kerr jar and one quart jar full of strawberries. There is a lid and cap in front of the empty jar. In the lower left corner is a black shield with price 10¢ in yellow text. The back panel had a black border at the top with For successful home canning in yellow text. There is an overflowing basket of vegetables with a full jar of vegetables and an empty Kerr jar to its right. Below the vegetables on the lower right is a mason cap and lid. In the lower right is a black shield with Kerr jars caps & lids with three stars under it in yellow text. The front end page has a dark grey top and bottom border with stars. The background is light grey and has an empty Kerr mason jar in the bottom left. The title is born to serve with a white block with black text with the mason jar's reason for existing in war time. The center pages (28-29) are in color and discuss the need for food to keep the U.S. strong. Pages 46 - 52 have Canning questions answered. Page 56 is an advertisement for Kerr products. The back end page states why Kerr products are the best and how to get in touch with the corporation if you have problems. There is a line drawing at the bottom of the page of one of the factories.
