Description:

The front panel is brown and tan with a little girl spooning jam onto her bread from a Kerr jar. Her doll is at the table to her right. The title is at the bottom of the panel. The back panel is also brown and tan but more tan. The publisher name and address is in the upper left. In the center on a brown background is an advertisement for Kerr home canning book and a coupon for the "World's Fair Edition". There is a comment: A splendid little gift for a bride's shower... you and your friends will like the beautiful natural color photos. The front end page has an advertisement for Kerr jars and lids. Page 4 is A page from the history book with questions on preserving and the answers. There are 10 lessons in all scattered through the leaflet. The text and the photographs and line drawings are in brown.
