Pamphlet was illustrated by Maxfield Parish. Front cover illustrates Polly putting the kettle on while she is watched by a man and little girl. Pewter serving dishes line the mantel above the fireplace. A cat is in the lower left corner and lower right corner of the framing around the illustration. Back cover features a bowing servant serving JELL-O to two kings with the phrase "America's Most Popular Dessert." Includes insert for JELL-O Ice Cream Powder. The front cover of insert has a drawing of a baby spooning the chocolate layer of Neapolitan Ice Cream. 14 page pamphlet with 4 page insert.
