The front cover features a large illustration of a homemaker at the dining table planning her meals with JELL-O boxes on the table. There is a blue lined fame that surrounds the title "For Economy Use JELL-O America's Most famous Dessert" and illustration. The back cover includes the blue fame, though it is broken by images of the JELL-O Safety Bag at the top left and at the lower right by a box of Strawberry JELL-O. There is a machine hole punched in upper left corner. The inside pages contain numerous recipes that utilize a flavor of JELL-O in them. Some of the recipes listed are Almond Cherry, Snow Pudding, Raspberry Bavarian Cream, Custard for Whipped JELL-O, Plum Pudding, Magic Ice, and Tomato JELL-O Salad. There are drawn colored illustrations of prepared dishes located throughout the inside pages. There is also an insert for JELL-O Ice Cream Powder included in the back of the pamphlet that is made up of five recipes and different illustrations of JELL-O desserts.
