Important notice regarding APA Style: The Fifth edition of the Publication Manual was published in 2001 .In June 2007 APA Published APA Style Guide to Electronic References which changes the format of references for electronic items. Some resource guides on the Web have not been updated to reflect these changes. The APA has its own webpage at http://www.apastyle.org/index.html which details the changes and Trinity University has developed a guide to the changed rules.

• The CitationStyles Handbook from the Writers' Workshop, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign summarizes bibliographical formatting rules for the American Psychological Association (APA) and Modern Languages Association (MLA) styles.
• Landmark's Citation Machine Part of the Landmarks for Schools Web site, Citation Machine is an interactive Web tool that provides entry forms, soliciting information for selected information resources. The tool then assembles the entered information into APA or MLA format.
