"Blue Period" p. 13-16 -- Summary: For the cover of a blues album, photographers try to shoot a model in the pose of Picasso's painting of a guitarist, and end up crucifying him. "X3" p. 17-19 -- Summary: A sketchy story about an alien research project into human reproduction is used for a self-test with which the reader is supposed to be able to determine his or her own "sex-portrait." "John Lennon" p. 20-21 -- Summary: John Lennon enters heaven, and livens it up. "Acherontia Atropos" p. 22-29 -- Summary: A man is hired to be a cameraman for a porno film in which a woman will be tortured and killed. The boss introduces him to the killer, and points out the woman at a club the night before. He tries to warn her, but she won't hear it. They show up for the filming, the door is locked, and it turns out it's a gay film and he's the victim, while she runs the camera. "Untitled" p. 30-33 -- Summary: A recursive dream, in which a man calls to a giant woman in the surf, is rowed by a rhinocerous-man to an island for some kind of dangerous contest, runs to the airport because the boss has landed, becomes the boss, wakes up, and tries to tell the giant woman in the surf about it. This story also appears in the Manara/Fellini album Trip to Tulum (1990), p. 8-11. "The Last Tragic Day of Gori Bau & the Callipygian Sister" p. 34-38 -- Summary: Two girls and a boy play a game in which the girls give orders and the boy has to follow them. One wants to be rowed to a ship offshore, and the other wants him to do it naked. He objects, but the game proceeds. Their dinghy sinks, but the girls make it to the ship. The boy shows up a bit later, and one of the girls gets her wish to have sex with him, while the other girl notices his dead body is still trailing along behind the ship. The ship hits a cliff and is wrecked. "And" p. 39-46 -- Summary: An Arturian and an Earthman are stranded on the planet Borges Prophet. A computer is madly churning out books by combining and recombining the letters of the alphabet, and the Arturian finds one that seems to give directions how to escape the planet. It works, or almost works, because every time there's a mistake in the book something odd happens. When they get to the end, it says "and" instead of "end," and the castaways now drifting through space in a small launch are left worrying about what that might mean.
