SUMMARY: Alan and Dave swim to an island to avoid a wild
boar, and decide to build a house on the island. They make
a roof of hemlock bark, and then a canoe of birch bark and
black ash. While trying out their new canoe they nearly
fall over a waterfall, but Dave snags a stump with his rope
