Congo Bill

Jungle adventure feature in comic books begun by artist George Papp, in More Fun Comics, no. 56 (June 1940), and moved to Action Comics with no. 37 (June 1941) at which time Frederic Ray became the artist. The feature had its own title briefly (1954-1955). Congo Bill later becomes the character Congorilla.
