their student life and is not willing to support them any

Summary: SpaceJamiri is overpowered by the
Ninja-Condoms who torture him to learn the name of a dog in
a German TV-series. When they can't break him, they

front of a gas station drinking beer with a friend Jamiri
wonders if they are wasting their lives and should be more
like their fellow student Udo who is in advertising. When

to boil him, while his most important concern is that light
years away a garage might not replace his car's fender in
the right color.

on narrow-minded ladies in their mid-fifties or older
Jamiri enters a German bakery in the afternoon to get some
bread. While there are still tons of sweets all the bread
is already sold and he is told by the baker that he should
get up earlier, avoid drugs and alcohol, and also should
get a serious job.
- "Zoo 3000" p. 22-23. -- Summary: In an allegory on
German supermarket cashiers, time traveling Jamiri buys
some futuristic animals (a womp and a turbo-rabbit).
- "Carpe Noctem 5" p. 24. -- Summary While getting
drunk in front of a club at 5 am Jamiri's friend starts a
monologue on the meaning of life. Jamiri points straight to
its subplot: His friend was left by his girlfriend. -- Art

- "TÜV" p. 25. -- Summary: Parody on students' fears
of not passing the German technical control board
inspection (TÜV) with their mostly cheap foreign cars.
- "Agent Jamickel jagt 'Midage Mutant Terror Schulte'" p.
26-27. -- Summary: A story starting as an action
strip on an agent hunting a dangerous cyborg turns into an
argument with Jamiri's girlfriend on housework.
- "Briefing" p. 28-29. -- Summary: In a parody on
the advertising business Jamiri presents an advertisement
for the fragrance "Mutti" (mommy) for crabby, overweight
men who won't change to a fat-free lifestyle (with
reference to photographer Herb Ritts).
- "Der große Bublitz" p. 30-31. -- Summary: Jamiri
(in an Indiana Jones-like outfit) is on a jungle expedition
to find the ancient tomb of Bublitz. On his arrival he
discovers that it's guarded by the demonic face of his
former math teacher asking him questions at the chalkboard.
- "Spacejamiri 3: 'TV-Mission'" p. 32-33. --
Summary: Spacejamiri crashes on a planet (destroying
the pirate ship from the Asterix comics and mentioning the
German distributor EHAPA). As a guest gift he brings TV to
the aliens, who use a molecular transforming device to get

- "Taxi" p. 34-35. -- Summary: Jamiri and his
girlfriend take a cab home after having drunk much too
much. When she starts vomiting, the cab driver stops
immediately, gets out, and opens the passenger seat door.
He is surprisingly happy that they have had Chinese food.
- "Klops" p. 36-37. -- Summary: Shows Jamiri feeding
his cat Klops, and reveals that Klops actually is a KGB
robot agent programmed to infiltrate and destroy when
activated.
- "Anja" p. 38-39. -- Summary: A parody on men's
talks on relationship problems shows a worried looking
Jamiri and a completely depressed looking friend of his in
a bar. For a long while they don't say anything until
Jamiri's friend utters the word "cunt." Then they return to
saying nothing.
- "Das Mainstream-Monster" p. 40. -- Summary:
Dealing with the problems of getting older as perceived in
changes in the Star Trek series (e.g. Scotty being
exchanged for Mr. Laforge in "Next Generation"). Jamiri
tries to exorcize the so-called Mainstream-Monster with
stuff that always keeps its value.
- "Spacejamiri in 'Das schwarze Loch'" p. 41. --
Summary: Spacejamiri gets absorbed into a black
hole. Wondering in which spectacular place he might turn
up, he is disappointed to find that he was transferred to
Sprockhövel, a small town in northwestern Germany.
- "Sex" p. 42-43. -- Summary: In a parody of
long-term relationships the story shows Jamiri lying in bed
with his girlfriend and watching TV. Jamiri asks her if she
would like to have sex, prompting both of them to laugh out
loud and return to zapping (channel surfing). --

Spacejamiri flies into strings transferring him to an
alternate earth, to Turin in 1982, where God himself does

p. in Memín, no. 7 (1983). -- SUMMARY: Memín, Ricardito and
Carlangas find their friend in the carpentry shop, drinking
liquor. Ernestillo says that if his father can see his wife
and talk to her when he's drunk, he wants to do it too and
talk to his mother. When the boys take the bottle from him,
Ernestillo attacks with a hammer and manages to knock
himself out. His friends put him in his bed, and return to
school. The teacher wants to know what they found, and they
say Ernestillo wasn't home. The teacher doesn't believe
them, and questions them until he gets the truth. The
teacher rushes to the carpentry shop, sees Ernestillo
unconscious, and calls an ambulance. The boys wait at the
hospital while the teacher looks for Mr. Vargas, the
missing father of Ernestillo. The news that his son is in
the Red Cross hospital shocks Mr. Vargas, and hearing that
Ernestillo was trying to see his mother fills him with
shame. In the hospital, Ernestillo recovers. The teacher
brings Mr. Vargas to his son, and he begs his son's

mother. The boys begin to help with the carpentry each day
