Bars

Besides the strips and stories listed below, bars are a common setting for more "adult" kinds of comics. For example the album Joe's Bar by Muñoz and Sampayo is a collection of loosely related stories about the customers of a New York City bar. Part of the action in the Kelly Green album The Go-Between takes place in a gay bar, and in the Sokal album Noces de Brume, Canardo seems to spend most of his time in a bar. In a story called "The Café," in the Altuna album Naughty Escapades, two bar employees have sex behind the counter while trying to wait on customers. See also Happy Hour, as a related topic, and Candy Bars, for another kind of bar.
