Software:a limited amount of software (and videodiscs) is selected and purchased by, and housed in, the Software Collection. Scope is limited to items of general medical interest primarily in a modest price range.

Date of publication of resources collected:emphases, if any

Emphasis is on current publications, preferably the latest two years. Monographic material older than five years is seldom considered unless gaps in significant editions/series are being filled. Older material is also considered for unusual or sparsely covered subjects or in the case of replacements for missing or classic items.
