Selected Microform Sources on Africa in MSU Libraries

MSU Library has an extensive range of Africana research materials on microfilm or microfiche (held in MICROFORMS, 2 WEST). As well as research sets, a large number of Africana titles, including early imprints and government reports, are held as preservation microform. All of these titles can be located via MAGIC, but this partial list of MSU microform sets may be useful for research. It comprises mainly archival (government and personal) papers and newspapers (The Library microform (MF) call number is in brackets after each entry).

MSU is a member of the Cooperative Africana Microfilm Project (CAMP) at the Center for Research Libraries. CAMP (http://www.crl.edu/info/camp.htm) holds many sets of African newspapers, archives, and personal papers, available for inter-library loan to MSU reseachers.
